I had a new bellman an flint sold it on eBay and there was a peips box on there which went for more than mine, but I do prefer the sound on the peips find it easier to locate with

I like the red brick. And I can't fault it as yet. The problem with barryvox or any other manufacturers apart from B&F if something goes wrong with it they won't replace it. Unless you say it broke on some snowy mountain top whilst you were trying to locate someone under the snow!

I've used all of them and honestly can't find any difference. At least the B&F was designed to do the job and they'll fix it if it breaks. The pieps is as good as the brick but the noise did my head in and the sliding switch often breaks

I can't see this so called "BIG" difference or more precision location accuracy lads say they get with the Barryvox pulse. We have all 3 types between us few lads, red box, barryvox and peips and the two peips boxes are used more than any other. It's got to the stage the other boxes are left in the van or at home.

I used to hate the noise of the pieps to but was using the red brick the other day and missed the noise, you know if its moved straight away just by the tone alone.

not bothered as long as it gets a result, i use pieps. but i do like the old 15ft knocker box, think its the sound of the click ads to the enjoyment

I can now do places we would have cringed at! Years gone by.

Confident of finding the dog,and getting the job done. On my own or another we are able to beat the odds most times,using the modern tec.IMO.
