Ideation 8,216
I don't mind them, in fact I really like them. I just like them best when they belong to someone else That way I can watch them run without having to live with them. But a first x collie / saluki could be proper nuts. 1 Quote Link to post

willo the wisp 27
If it had to be a first x, then I'd use summat like a lab, or a deerhound, summat real sensible and biddable. But none of the, would touch a coursing dog at any job given i seen on a dvd before a saluki x retriever type dog killing hares in day think it was a dvd brookie on here had Quote Link to post

bonehead 92
As stated we already got them imo, line bred coursing dogs (saluki hybrids ) yes I know but question was just out of interested as first cross saluki would be heavy saturated with saluki what dog breed would you use as the lurcher had to start somewhere before adding 5 different dogs in mix was just out of interested but I won't post again as too many ready to tear holes in topics bye lads enjoy site 1 Quote Link to post
Somewhereyournot 1,117
Line bred coursing dogs got everything in them going back far enough, even if saluki saturated. I thought it was a good question myself. Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490
Working saluki to working saluki ,in the right hands do anything you want more. Biggest problem is mediocre saluki lines being punted around Quote Link to post
