Born Hunter 17,841
Is this gonna stop anyone buying a Veedub? Obviously 'cheating is wrong' and we should do what is reasonable to improve air quality but does anybody give the faintest of fucks what comes out of the exhaust of their prospective next vehicle?
neil82 1,087
the big fuss here is probably going to be about the fact that when MOT testing these they don`t rev very high when doing the smoke test, but there are lots of others that are the same so veedub and the rest of the VAG group are not the only ones, and some petrol engine cars are so unstable when trying to do the test (have to be held between 2500 and 3000 revs) I would not be surprised if there`s something dodgy with them as well
*The*Field*Marshall* 674
I currently own a Passat B6, was thinking of upgrading the Amarok - I wonder if I'll get me a discount In all honesty, I haven't got a clue what this will entail for the company - although no one could convince me that they are the only ones up to this! I mean aren't BMW and Audi practically built in the same factory?? Quite a suprise though.
