Rez 4,961
You don't get deals on icons mate although Mac sold what I look back on as a missed opportunity. Buy new if you wish, buy sending hand if it's been well looked after... it'll stick pellets in the same hole longer after your eyes can even see that far and only get sweeter with age. God, I did missed out on owning an eighty... If I ever sold my 97 I'd consider an HW80 in .22. You don't see that many come up second hand to be honest, probably due to every owner not really wanting to let a stablemate of their collection go, even though they wont get used, they'll just sit in the cupboard, but when it does get out, just like the day it was bought, only better. Buy new and keep it for a lifetime. By the way. COD... PC or console? MW 4 or 2? 2 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
got one for sale if you want it a 22, only shot about 200 pellets . in VERY GOOD CONDITION . need £200 for it. collection only or you you sort post out. it is a early model from the 80s with long barrel. That's a rifle to go for. One of the original and best of the breed. I'd snap that up if I was out for a secondhand HW80 at that price. To attest to what Rez has said. Mine is an 18 year old .22 veteran of thousands of rabbits and has given me some of the best dusk and dawn hours of my hunting life out shooting with it. Those who appreciate this German icon of a break barrel air rifle, say it is the best HW80 they have ever come across. Long barrelled and a long range pest killer. I use it against rabbits, rats and Mink that roam on my permissions. Against Mink especially, it is a hunting man's best friend! A shot anywhere in their heads and it's lights out.` It is tuned to 21.6 ft/lbs on my FAC and NO amount of cash will ever induce me to part with it. Get one! Even a badly duffed-up and neglected example will refurbish back into a prize specimin rifle that will put quarry in the bag and a bloody big grin on your face Quote Link to post
