There's a difference between hyping up a fight and making yourself look a complete bellend.

A genuinely big fight sells itself it doesnt need hyping......i dont remember the big boxing names of the past dressing up in childrens costumes and rolling round on the floor yet plenty of them took part in record breaking fights.............it makes you wonder if Fury truly believes he will ever be in this position again on boxing alone so is just trying to make a name for himself at any cost................i cant really understand any other reason for it.
Maybe he really doesn't care what people think and he's doing his own thing, not everyone is the same gnash, I think he's hilarious, lol he's definitely got peoples backs up and talking about him,any publicity is good publicity especially in show buisness which at the end of the day is all it is atb AT

Its probably all very appealing to kids and drama queens a bit like wwf wrestling is......but boxing has a long history of being a respectful gentlemans sport where from early on young men are taught things like discipline and dedication....as well as dignity and respect..........im sure Fury has the necessary discipline and dedication but his dignity and respect have been left way behind and its that dignity and respect that makes him disliked by many within the sport......then again im not sure he,s too fussed about the sport of boxing i think he is out to be famous at any cost and is willing to do virtually anything to get that fame.

But there's been plenty made an arse of themselves at press conference's in an un- gentlemanly un-discilined kinda way...Fury's by no means the first or the worst...your own Mark Kaylor spitting his dummy Hide and Bent rolling around like kids in the playground not to forget messers Tyson and Lewis in the leg biting i'll eat your babies pantomime...whatever silly costume Fury wears he'd have to go along way to disgrace himself in the way Chisora did...spitting in another mans face...lowest of the low that

Mark regrets everything about the incident with Errol Christie to this day......as i would imagine Mike Tyson does and probably Haye/Chisora etc......the big difference is they were spur of the moment violent reactions which although not acceptable, are maybe more understandable in a violent sport ......than the pre meditated act of dressing up in a batman costume and rolling around on the floor  .....like i say i dont think its anything more than a desperate craving for fame with Fury.

Bent regrets it too(hides probably too thick to realise) no doubt Fury will too in time...he's 27...can remember some of the stupid shit i done back then
