jonnie bravo 572
Well was down the range tonight with the prosport again. I thought maybe time to go pcp as last week was a bit of a shocker, my groups were far too big. My usual set up for 20yds benchrest is done at 9x mag. I could make out a lot of detail at this mag, and importantly see where shots went. So instead I tried shooting at 4x mag, which is much more comfortable for hunting given the wide field of view. I couldn't see the impact point of most of the shots, but my groups soon tightened up- 10 shots in a 5p with 1 flyer on my first card, and my PB on a proper benchrest target card. Part of me thinks this is due to the reduced parallax error at low mag, and perhaps the fact that was blissfully unaware of my point of impact? Either way, I was really chuffed with the result 1 Quote Link to post
