Ruff As Feck/ But What A Shooter

Little hunter got a rat catcher given to him off his other grandad that has been in the loft for about 9 or 10 years

 

its as ruff as feck barrel all pitted and air chamber all pitted the little rifle come pistol is all cover,d in rust so i stripped it all and set about cleaning it up but before i did i had a few shots of it the back site was slack and the front site was held on with tape so i put a few cans out to about 18 yards and set away knocking them off was well impressed with it .

 

What a cracking rifle come pistol they are but it dose need a set of scopes and a silencer as its loud feck me you would think it was a 303 lol.

 

So i stripped it all down and masked it all off and im going to prime it up tomorrow as iv not got lights in my man cave lol.

 

Im going to do the same as one of the lads off here did to his hw100 as i liked it a lot but iv got to show little hunter first as its his rifle slash pistol

 

ill put up the photos of it finished but here are some now of the start of the start of it

 

some of the photos are not the best mind still need to get a new camera

Thanks moxy im going to show little hunter the camo stock and see if he wants one of them and i may get the steel breech to

 

it shows a ten shot mag, can you adapt them to a multi shot ?

 

iv carbon fiber,d it with the carbon fiber wrap

 

just got a few little finishing touches to do to her now

 

iv sorted the front sites and the back and iv ti-tend all the screws as all of then were slack

 

she is sweet as now .

 

Just need a set of 3,9,40 scopes and a mod for her now so if any of you lads have a cheep set of scopes and a mod going let me know

 

the mod must be the push over type that fastens on with the grub screw

looking good mac as said get a steel breech and a us spec tranfer port.

I bought some scope bases that fit over the barrel of my 2240. Fit them, then you can ditch the front sight and mount a cheap red-dot like a Hawke Sport. Then you can fit a placcy silencer adapter, and now all you can hear from mine is the hammer. Magpies and rats don't like the finished article, for some reason...

and i was thinking along the lines of one of them scopes

 

he is just a spoil,t kid but i love the little bugger lol

 

the rat looks like a different gun now as she was ruff reel ruff

Beat me to it Moxy, it does make them sooooooo much better, and those scope mounts its got are about as much use as a chocolate teapot, the steel breech has dovetails, so makes mounting a scope worthwhile, there really is not much point with those pro-blocks,also I would get the adjustable hammer spring kit, then you can lower the power for plinking, and turn it up a bit for ratting etc, and dont get me started on Wipac kits to make it run on air lol

Its one of them guns you look at but think naaa but when you try it lol i could not put it down its a cracking little tool and will be put to use .

 

now all little hunter has to do is get the super sport off him that he has in the loft to .

 

O , and Mark the rat is 177 that will keep you happy lol
