slipper 116 Posted September 21, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 21, 2015 Cheers mate all it is is that I was reading sporting guns monthly spaniel training tips and this bloke was teaching how to stop running in He said he blows the sit whistle then as he walks away blows the stop whistle to reinforce it but didn't say what sound he uses ie how many pips or whatever for both Quote Link to post
Dan Newcombe 58 Posted September 27, 2015 Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 In a similar way you shouldn't really need the stay command ………….. stop = sit = stay Once you tell the dog to sit / stop it shouldn't really move until you tell it otherwise. Quote Link to post
