Transit Boxes For Lurchers

just wanting to see what people are using for transit boxes for lurchers, looking to get one for a berlingo van shortly, most that i have seen are pretty small and wouldn't be suitable for a bigger lurcher,

Mine just go in a dog crate when in my mates van, bungee`d to the side of the van to stop it sliding about. Chuck a blanket over it if you wanted.

Better speaking to a welder some of the dog boxes are too expensive for what they are, the cabs are crackers but for that money a welder would knock you up a lightweight one with stainless mesh and you'd still have dosh left

Same as bobcullen79 just put a crate in. You can get them in all sorts of sizes to fit any dog and if your dogs that big you will need a bigger van.

Mine are free range in the back of my van, I have a liner, then a heavy duty rubber mat up the middle and a square of carpet at the top for them to lay up on, it's good, but it's not safe and I need to think about changing it.

My mate has a Antrim box for sale £100 fits in the back of ya van no problem mate.

thanks for the replies, sorted now, just going to for fork out for a cab one i think, expensive but will be worth it in the long run.
