whippet 99 2,613
Is a great spot to hunt.just hard to cover on outside .as there is only a hand full of lads come with us. Do lurcher lads go with you? Bet a couple of lurchers could have some sport with that pack of yours. that's illegal ! Quote Link to post

Guest foxpack
another decent days hunting ,1st spot we done is a big marsh with a few gorse patches in it.Charlie boy was found on the side of the cover behind a dry stone wall ,which left hima good back door to escape from.Simply because they usaully go up the cover to the top .but he never and lives to tell the tale, 2nd spot was a massive gorse patch that runs to the fell, all guns were on the wall blocking the fell.fox was lifted but went through a sheep hole in wall and 1 of the guns could have shot him ,but a dog was right behind him,so he was away into thick heather. 3rd big spot is a mixture of cover plus some very tall white grass, fox was lifted in the middle and was ran to ground ,10 mins bolted and cleanly shot my son on quad duty keeping look out 16 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Good day out mate. I'd snap someones arm off for that kind of ground to hunt nudge nudge I wouldn't turn down a day out that's for sure But I wasn't fishing. . . . . we just mostly hunt thick woodland and forestry, and it's a rare treat, pushing stuff from cover out into the open to get a shot, rather than just pushing it on and on through cover, hoping to stop it or bag it as it crosses a clearing / ride. Different parts of the country, different landscapes, different hunting styles. That's what makes it interesting. 2 Quote Link to post
