Tiercel 6,986
Were you to then mountain ash area ? Sounds like he is a Tint Indian. I fished the Cynon from the age of 4 up, but in the upper reaches. My Brother still lives in the area Next time I speak to him I will ask. I do know though that all the parr were stocked in the Taff not the Cynon. TC 1 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
Fook me tiercel do you know me???? Lol. By the way, its tynte! Cynon was also stocked too when i was a nipper i pulled my first ever fish out if there from a little spot called 'marcels bench' I used to live in Fern Hill. I have two sisters living in the Cyber and one in Porthcelyn. Anyways Just spoke to my brother, and he is up on his fishing. Apparently the Salmon are running the Cynon, but do not stay there, they run up so far then drop back to the Taff. That is from the EA from tagging and tracking fish. They are running the Taff though, The biggest problem from what he just told me is the Cardiff barrage interfering with the runs. TC Quote Link to post
the goat 642
Scratching my head who he could be....dont blame you from moving drom fernhill lol. Tell your brother the salmon my mate caught was down the sandys....behind the factories. Never heard of one even been seen here since but do know they are in the taff a mile or two down...
