I was out with one on Thursday and I took my lithium and light force, whilst it had a tighter beam and the range was good I did preferred my set up even though I had no doubt my bitch saw the quarry with the led light I felt safer in the knowledge of my set up and lit that f****r up anyway!!

Yeh I rate it mate. Used it about 4 times now and will be out tonight with it.

Don't get me wrong it's up to the job no doubt about but it's personal preference for me, think I'm just THAT used to halogen set ups

I think thats the main reason it gets knocked by some lads. It's just different. Especially when some of you lads have been using halogens for 20-30-40 years and longer.

 

But like you say it's definitely up to the job. And at £60 ?

There 2 1/2 hours runtime and 500metre beam, they sound good but 2 1/2 hours isn't enough for me on some nights so not for me, but I sure as sick of re wiring my lighforce lance,

They really ain't too bad , take a bit of getting used to with it been led compared to the halogen but it's the ease of not having no cord getting tangled up and I've had a good 4 hours out of mine and never showed no sign of losing life

Do you have your lamp on for 2 1/2 without switching it off ??? That run time is constant use i.e switch it on and dont turn it off for 2.5 hrs . By rights prob should get 4 plus hrs easily with it

Do you have your lamp on for 2 1/2 without switching it off ??? That run time is constant use i.e switch it on and dont turn it off for 2.5 hrs . By rights prob should get 4 plus hrs easily with it

I'm always out 6 hours mate and not flattened it yet.
