krawnden 1,036
A guy I knew had a deerhound around the late 1940's/early 1950's that used to take reds single handed, but I don't know if that was hinds, stags or both. Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
Spill the beans then Jok. True or false??? Quote Link to post
jok 3,325
Well. Need to be a bit careful here. Yes without doubt these guys have the dogs to do it and have been with them on Yorkshire moors for a lot more than a hundred rabbits. As regards the reds, then one of the guys brought in a French dog, cross bred and created a killing machine. Totally loyal and all in all one of the best dogs for the job. If this guy reads this he will know who I am so enough. 1 Quote Link to post
