Just had a long weekend on the broads with my sister and a couple of friends I've never been before now and I'm hooked I'd definitely recommend it I'm already looking into taking my lad next year

Was there in October just gone,  love it! Hopefully get back soon ?

There's a fella who lives just up the road from me and he's a real cracking chap,he built a canoe and goes out onto the broads as well as other places in Norfolk and films some wonderful sights .Simon

Booked up next weekend. I'll take a couple of rods and see if I can get the kids into a few wee fish. They're really looking forward to it.

Had a cracking weekend. I even passed the watermill you posted a picture of on the way up to Wayford Bridge/Dilham. 'Bagged up' on roach whilst moored just the other side of the bridge..., although next time I go I'll need to make sure that the coarse season is actually open :whistling:

If I'd have been a bit better organised think I'd have spent a few of my nights mooring up the broads a bit, not with all the other boats but somewhere quiet. Some of the scenery is stunning.., some of the houses too, and what I'd associate with some very best that England has to offer.

I let my seven year old boy do a lot of the driving, he was absolutely in his element. I'd recommend this to anyone, and especially anyone who has kids that like the outdoors.

Even managed to get a shot of the 'rare' Marsh Harrier too...

Booked up a few days at the end of next month. Thinking I might need to plan it like a military operation to ensure we get into pubs/restaurants etc. Looking forward to it though.
Thought I might have a day or two either side maybe in North Yorks, or maybe Peak district. Was thinking of Go Ape at Dalby, and/or the North Yorks railway? Any suggestions for a family day out (between Norfolk and Scotia) most welcome.

6-700 quid  for 5 days in October  ,obviously more in peak times

Edit to say that includes a full tank of fuel and you get back what you don't use , think I got 70 quid back this time

Where do you people shit, whilst on those boats? I just get horrible images of " The Inbetweeners " ?

All mod cons on board, every few days just pull  up at certain points and  a guy empties your tank for a  small charge .
