neil cooney 10,416
Hoggs are not the boot they once were IMO and when my current pair are finished I'll be going elsewhere. I was looking at a pair of the Lennons at a show last year and I'm sorry I didn't buy them. Quote Link to post
Chicken_man 1,651
Just picked up this pair from car boot sale. Ex army. Very comfortable, I just put leather laces in. Will keep an eye open for another pair :-) Atb Quote Link to post

foxbolter 447
There's far better boots around today than the fell boot in my opinion for less money too it's a tell tale sign when you don't see hardly any using them when ur fell hunting including the huntsman but a each to their own as they say Quote Link to post
DIDO.1 22,591
Mens boots! 4 Quote Link to post
cragman 2,763
They used them years ago because there was nowt else. I prefer comfort over nostalgia and legging it over fell and scree in a good pair of Meindl Burmas for 6-7 hours makes a difference. 3 Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Fell boots... If yer smashing down hard on a bulldog banjo, on iron hard ground mid winter... Except no substitute!!! Quote Link to post
DIDO.1 22,591
I do like mine, they are comfy and didn't take that much wearing in. The only negative is the fill with water and don't let it out. A decent pair of modern boot fit tighter to your leg, they can also be alot longer so don't flood quite as quick!! This is something I didn't take into account when mink hunting this season!!! Quote Link to post
