Lamping for me. I used to do nothing but daytime once over, but very little if any these days.

like both for different reasons really, but if i had to choose probably daytime as you might not get big hauls but seeing your dog run a winter (january) hare on snow , is a sight to never forget

prefer daytime if there was enough game out definatly heaps more comfortable plus all i want to do is go out or have a few beers with my mates at night

lamp through the week out at the crack of dawn on sundays or saturdays have a couple of hours out until you see farmers and then you f*ck off before the f*ckers get the pigs out

love mooching on good land BUT cant beat the BUZZ of driving to the fellas i no with my brother in twilight hours :protest: :search: :crazy: and jump in his jeep an go lamping in good company

Daytime is excellent....if you know what your doing and are on the right land...

but i love lamping, there is something about walking the land in the dark on your own with one dog and a lamp. See much more game and can really test a dogs stamina to the max. Id love to be able to go for a stroll over the fields and bag a thew rabbits....but round here it really isn't happening.

i use to do a lot ov daytime and lamping but now its just lamping before you could test your dog during the day if you were at places like the fens but now youre lucky to get one or two runs before the bisseys are there so now if youre going to test your dog its gotta be allnight lamping the only way to test your dogs now
