Yes, they often go back to the same feed flowers. The more aromatic the scent the better. These moths can't really overwinter in the UK, so they are migrants from the continent where it's a bit warmer. They, however, can breed over here if they arrive early enough and if we have an Indian summer, though the chance of finding these caterpillars is remote at best. They can be over-wintered artificially I believe, but it's not easy. A cracking find! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
