david2363 42
My brother had a cracker, mainly a ferreting dog , but the odd Hare , a couple of Roe deer and quite a lot of Foxes (a bit of a grim struggle on a big dog fox though.) Also was a handy dog at the end of a dig. Quote Link to post

Kane 2
I dont know why beddy/whippets are so popular when a beddy/greyhound would do a lot better and a lot more.JMHO Quote Link to post
Brummy 9
I would say the reason is Kane is that they are a better size for bushing as well as the usual rabbiting/ratting and hunting duties. I would never have a terrier specifically for bushing when a Beddy/Whippet will do it better and a lot more besides. As for capabilities my 19" bitch catches rabbits, rats and her speciality is feral cats which send her into a psychotic rage ! Above all though she will hunt ANYTHING and her nose is just amazing. The amount of stuff she puts up for the bigger dogs makes her worth her weight in gold to me ! Quote Link to post

No need to get abusive because your talking ater shite your telling me even if it was a strong beddy whipp lets be generous and say 50lb now that a stonking beddy whip is pulling 12 stone plus deer?? Why do you think i am a prick?? You made a bold statement which i think ifts always good to back your storeys up.. I have seen four dogs making a meal of a fallow so dont think no beddy whippet is stopping one dead in its tracks .. lets keep to the topic and less of the swear words dont prove nothing mate i know your telling porkies Quote Link to post

I have a 25" grey x collie which i use for the bigger stuff (before the ban) but if the beddy sees deer she will run it and if she gets close enough take it. You must of owned s**t dogs if they cant tackle anything heavier than them mate. As for me telling Porkies ,you must know for sure what a beddy X whippet can do being your 26 yrs old and very experienced in everything Jog on you Prick Giro Edited November 29, 2007 by johnnyboy28 Quote Link to post
