Blueboybilly 164
Hi, I'm looking at getting a lamping kit for my first whippet puppy. Both me and the pup will be new to lamping. I'm happy to pay more if it means getting a good kit As always - all advice is useful to me Thanks BBB Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
Depending on budget I'd probably google a tracer 150 sportlight rechargeable so no battery to buy 1 Quote Link to post
Dewclaw69 484
have to be careful here or you'll soon outgrow a lamp. a good budget outfit is a laserlite cb2 with a 9amp lithium and charger. get onto cluson engineering they'll sort you a good deal out. I've used a lazerlite for the last 20 years or so and it does the job. 1000m beam Quote Link to post

J Darcy 5,871
No point in buying twice....buy the best kit once and then you can forget about it..... And good luck..... 3 Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
I have both set ups a striker and a tracer 150 I personally prefer not having the lead ,OK for a good few hours unless you like to leave your lamp on all night , Then I'd go for a striker/170 and a biggish lithium battery, the wiring isn't the most reliable though 1 Quote Link to post
dan john 82
Yeah the wiring in light force lamps are not always the best they do burn out over bit of time Quote Link to post
