swanny105 26
What and how much do you feed your dogs/pups all dry ? Barf? Meat and buiscuit? And how much ? Quote Link to post
flipbull 1,139
Feed what they need and what you can afford. If feeding raw make sure you have got a supplier you can rely on. With a pup space it out and reduce when getting older. As for feeding 1 or the other or, both, then people have their own opinions. You get to know your dog and see what it thrives off. 2 Quote Link to post

Dewclaw69 484
i have a 2yr old lurcher and he gets raw chicken carcasses, lamb ribs, tinned mackerel, raw eggs, tinned tomatoes, any dinner scraps ( veggies etc). I back this up with complete. I try feed according to what he looks like. He drops weight off more in the season so i up his grub. he lives out so his main meal is at night when i put him away and later if lamping. mornings he gets lamb bones and he'll get some tinned fish and eggs a few hours before working him. its about getting it right for your dog. i've been feeding raw in the main for about a year now and he does well on it. 1 Quote Link to post

slip lead 862
Always feed a dog on the amount of work it does. Two identical dogs(height, weight, breed) will consume, need, different amounts of protein and fat depending on work load. Quote Link to post
Blueboybilly 164
A combination of Tripe, Offal, Raw Meat & veg backed up with dry dog food in between raw meals. Works a treat for my dog. Since the raw meat and offal I have seen a big change in him, his energy levels, his coat, his skin has all got better. Worked for me and my dog - I'll never go back to 100% dry food. The abbetoir sells decent fresh offal at really low prices - also tripe can be picked up on the day that it has been killed.
