tomburras 2,730
Well I'm stuck at work and unable to get out properly but this years blackberries are huge and plentiful compared to other years. There's plenty in the yard and they are unusually big! Any other blackberry pickers on here? Last year I made wine and jam but this year is miles better for picking
Leeview 791
yes we spotted some in a wood that looked really good, took a bowl back next day and some T$*T had poached them left enough to make a crumble though Y.I.S Leeview

SINDASOX 256
Made jam, crumble's and tart's and also done some blackberry vodka. Also boil them up with sugar and then mash all up and put through a sieve to get a delicious blackberry sauce to dribble over your ice cream. Some places near me there are plenty ready for picking now, then you can go half a mile away and the crop is very poor. Just looking at them now in Aldi, one pound sixty something for a handful. cragman 2,791
Picking some last Sunday with my granddaughter then we watched badgers as it went dark. There's a big pie in the kitchen now, mixed with Apple.

Accip74 7,112
I used to pick loads as a youngster for my mum, I remember me & my dad filling his tweed trilby while out with the dogs :-) Sadly the closest I've got to decent ones over here is in the organic shop I use.......not quite the same......
