Vitali couldn't even control the fight with Derek chisora and went life and death with him

You do know this was a way past it Vitali in his second to last fight??

Lol way past it so was Kevin Johnson when aj apparently stopped him but on one cares for that

Yes but Vitali didn't get demolished early on now did he?? What exactly are you getting at? AJ is looking the business and destroying everyone and will become a contender shortly all things being well. Fury is in the premier league now and we will see how he does against the worlds best.

Gary Cornish is a joiner who had to ask his company for time of to train for the Joshua fight yes aj has the power but it's time for a serious step up.

Kevin Johnson was on his feet and could have fought on it wasn't a true stoppage it's what the Americans call a British stoppage.

I agree that it's time for a step up, next is Whyte. I think Joshua will blow him out early despite what happened when both were in the amatuers. A lot of fights are stopped a tad too soon, it's called preventing the inevitable.

I also think Joshua will do Whyte away and I think dillian has actually made so much out of making the fight happen he can't get away from it now as we both know comparing 2 amateurs in their first ever fight to a profesinal fight is different Joshua has had more time to get the experience as Whyte had something like a two year ban for a banned substance

i really don't think whyte is anywhere near aj level after Saturday I think whyte knows that also.... And will be out of there within 2 rounds.... I really hope Tyson beats klitchko so him and aj can have a big British show down... But I think fury will avoid him but fingers crossed ay?

Ild like to see him last a bit longer than 2 rounds we seen Gary Cornish actually landed one clean shot on aj ild like to see Whyte dish it out a little and answer the the question of Joshua taking good shots as we know Whyte also carries some power also I think fury would love to fight Aj as he's already said he's had enough of boxing and only intrested in s fight with wvlad aj and wilder

Most of the 'debate' in this thread boils down to one thing..., jealousy. The guys knocking Joshua (Fury's fans/family) have a chip on their shoulder about the exposure and profile afforded to the guy, when in reality that's not really anything to do with him. The reality is he's just been marketed better..., a lot better. It wouldn't surprise me if he's earned more than Fury already and he hasn't fought anyone near the top level yet. I believe that if Fury was promoted by Hearn, and fought on Sky, he too would have a higher profile. That's just the way it is, with Sky, Matchroom and Hearn are in the box seat with British boxing. And regardless of what Fury or his old boy with the chip on his shoulder says, I believe it's got nothing to do with him being a traveller.

To say Joshua 'hasn't fought anyone yet' may be a fair comment, and that's maybe another debate in itself. I think whether you love or hate AJ we have a unanimous decision that he has yet to be properly tested. But should he have been? Had Fury fought much better in his first 14 fights?

Hearn and Sky have Joshua selling out the O2 and they'll all be pocketing plenty. That could encourage them to protect their 'cash cow' but I don't believe they will. I think 2016 will see AJ move on to fighting world ranked fighters to eventually get him a title shot. That doesn't, and probably shouldn't happen overnight but I believe it will happen and then we'll all see what he's made of. To take cheap shots at him now for who he's fought is naive and petty. Like any pro at this stage of his career he can only fight who's put in front of him.

I wish Tyson all the best, and hope he does the business next month. And hopefully he can hang onto the belts for a year or so until Joshua is ready for him, then me and the rest of the British boxing fans will get to see who really is the best.

No truth in that atall most of the people who slander Joshua don't like fury either
Not on this forum...., every Joshua thread on here has you and a few others having a dig at those who believe AJ is a good prospect, and bigging up the Furys at the same time. Trouble is its only opinions and only time will tell if any of us know what we're talking about... Edited by pesky1972

The Calzaghe Family seemed to do ok from their little Gym.

Calzaghe was a technically gifted athlete ...............Fury is not.............its not a difficult conundrum.
Your opinion lol

not gifted athlete you really make me laugh big naturally heavyweight who has got handspeed for a bigman can switch stance when he wants good footwork made Derek chisora a top rated heavyweight retire to his seat after not being able to land a glove but he's not technically gifted get a life fury is a more exiting prospect than Anthony Joshua that's for sure what will you say when he beats wvlad next month

If he beats Klitchsko i,ll say fantastic and well done to the lad just like most other British boxing fans will..........but now lets say he loses on technical ability, will his camp have the honesty to look deep inside themself and say " did we really do everything we could to make this lad as technically proficient as possible ".

What you or i say matters not a jot i dont know what you get so excited about on these topics to be honest.

Cornish shat his pants...piss poor that...Whyte looked poor too...thought he was better

Looked very nervous, but who wouldn't be, facing Josh

Nervous...the look in his eyes when he was on all fours in the corner he was terrified!...some people comparing Joshua to Mike Tyson...the similarity is the reputation for power...and many of the journeymen they face early on in their careers... have lost the fight before the first bell has rang...i expected a bit more ambition from Cornish...he wasnt badly hurt...he could of took a knee and continued but took the early exit...he was soon up and shaking hands all grins afterwards...i expect a lot more from Commonwealth and British title prospects...Joshua's looking good...but i will reserve judgment until after he's been in with a live opponent

Seems a bit of a shame that we have a London lad fighting for a legitimate world title tonight and nobody cares he seems to have gone right under the radar but best of luck to George Groves tonight hopefully another belt coming home to England.

See what your saying mate...but if you thought it was such a shame...how come you didnt start a thread about groves??...cant say i start a thread about every title fight i watch...but thought what with all the banter about Joshua on here it might make a talking point...did you see the Josh Warringnton fight last week?...them Leeds lads know how to support their locals...you think Mitchell Smith will knock him out like he did Dennis Tubiron??...lets hope Groves brings home the belt...but have the feeling he might just come up short

I hardly think starting a topic on the huntinglife forum will get him the coverage he deserves do you :D ......when i said nobody cares i meant the general public and boxing world he just seems to of gone off everybodies radar since Froch.

Yes he gets some great support Warrington and its a natural fight to make i dont think Mitchell will have it easy but i do think he has the power to stop anybody of his weight when his mind is on the job....can he outbox him over 12 rounds, that im not sure about

Still not had a chance to watch the Groves fight...think he's off a lot of punters radars...as he ran his mouth too much before the Froch fights...and came up short at world title level...sadly again at the weekend

I dont think Warrington will last 12 rounds with Mitchell...but at 13-0 think he still has a bit to learn...looks a little scrappy and over eager at times...he's won over 10 rounds...do you think 12 would be a problem for him?...Mitchell Smith one of the most exciting British prospects out there at the minute
