Good catch that,I tried countless times to hook up with a tuna in the med during their migration,took the boat right offshore and was surrounded by tuna showing on the surface,tried trolling,dead baiting under a floated balloon,nothing worked even though there were thousands of fish.

Over the past few years there's been more and more reports of tuna off of Ireland, with the ever shifting gulf stream it looks like there could be some exiting times ahead for those putting a bit of effort in off the western peninsulas...

 

What a cracking fish, it's firmly on my to do list!!
