Cutting Down A 223/243 Barrel?

Just got back in from shooting a few targets,

Well the groups were great 3 shots touching at 50 yards

Moved out to 100 and as I focused the side parralax I noticed the cross hairs moving from side to side

I replaced it with my scope off my 22 and got 6 shots all within a 2p sized target at 100 yards

So my foxing rifle is up and running now for when they cut all this maize but I still need a new scope
