Waz 4,253
Could set yourself up as a window cleaner for a lot less than a grand. Or get going as a gardner. Was talking to a fella local this afternoon, he started on euros a day as a gardener. Now averages 200 a day as he has to have a bit of help and makes a bit of them. He is a business student, and sometimes seems to try and work out the business theory a bit to much but its working for him. Started of with a mower hedgetrimmers strimmer and a cheap chainsaw. Youd get all of that for a grand. Might need replacing after not too long but youd be up off the starting blocks by then.

Wxm 1,638
Buy all types of hunting items pottery / pictures / books ect at reasonable prices .... I've got around 60 - books that I've never paid no more than around 50p - £3 for with the exception of 2 Darcy books ... I can see things getting harder for the hunting folk in years to come and hunting is going to end up being a story either parents tell their kids or grand parents tell their grandchildren . But that's a long term investment .. Just out of interest what part if the country are you cushty??
