David Aiken 253
So, if we did this with a rifle, can you imagine the outcry and call for all hunting to be band! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11854651/Man-prosecuted-for-catching-wild-deer-in-London-suburb-and-eating-it-at-Christmas.html
Lloyd90 509
If he had cut the throat where he found the injured deer, then took it home surely he would have been OK ? I've used my knife to dispatch a shot deer that was unfortunately still alive. His own fault for putting it on the devil book

moxy 617
"Found an air rifle and hunting gear" Always quick to publish stuff like that. Even though it had no relevance to the case.
Lloyd90 509
He slit its throat? I can't fathom how that's inhumane? I think it's cos he took a suffering animal home in his car before doing so. Also he pleaded guilty. A good solicitor would have got him off as taking game from the roadside isn't a crime, neither is butchering an animal for home consumption. Again if it had been dead first then think he'd be fine.

So if the rspca took the animal back to a centre and then decided the best option was to euthanise it?................ Just a thought.
