DanRaistrick 53
That's the way to go Hunting loon, get them introduced early and it makes the job easier for you. Stock breaking on an older pup or dog always proves a much more difficult challenge! Quote Link to post
Leesy 35
Yeh keep it up pal. Started breakng mine at 10 weeks on my pals sheep, wether grazing or running never bothered them. 16 months now and bothered at all until last week. One popped up out of long grass on tuther side of wire fence, made him jump so he ran at it and hit the fence!! Gave him a bollocking and left lead trailing on floor so i could stand on it if he fancied another go. Thankfully he didnt! Strange thing tho...he's always been bang on when out with me, but that time the Mrs is with me so dont know that could be connected to it as he's very protective over her and the kids! Its knocked my confidence in him a bit tho! Just goes to show its something to keep up no matter how good they seem! Edited September 10, 2015 by Leesy Quote Link to post
