bobza 910
cheers zandy its been nice to get some nice comments about the dogs, ive put a lot in over the years with the dogs, walking them fields most nights of the week, no money and trying to live off the land ,i sell my catch or eat it to make ends meet ,ive helped loads of running dogs over the years and will normaly run my pack as well as the ones that turn up from day to day ,as you know zandy im always there for advise ,when i take you out on Saturday you will see how class your whippet is ,when its put on the best of land ,the red dog has been by far the best single handed dog ive ever seen day and night in all them years ,its real shame ive never had a camra as you know theres many of my dogs are gone but will never be forgot and the pics will stay in my head clear as your camra, the land i get to work dogs on i put a lot of work in doing all the moles for the farmers and without pay , my knees have took a lot of stick but the passion for running dogs keeps them going ,i wish all the lads that got theses whippet pups al the best with them and yous are more than welcome to come to my home anytime , have a good season and don't go hungry get owt and find dinner atb bobza 1 Quote Link to post

bobza 910
lurchers very nice dogs mate ,yes the whippet would be a good out cross but there would have to be a class whippet to use at stud and like you say its finding one that will do what you ask of it ,my deerhound bitch still gets a few runs and has took al quarry but just when it pleases her lol, due to an on going injury to her back ive part retired her at the age of 7 ,maybe there might be a line out of her one day but she don't like dogs next to her when in season , nearly takes the face off any dog that trys lol Quote Link to post
