Super Dogs ( Lurchers )

There very few far an inbetween dogs that run as you say as super dogs am sure theres dogs out there that will run 5 for 5 foxes an 7 for 7 hares if the dogs gets the chance depends on your area whats avaible round you last few times av been out av run 2 for 2 an 4 for 4 but ither nights just dont go your way so for some one to come on an claim they have a super dog makes themselves look like a super s##t talker

No one is claiming that they got a super dog its just my personal view of expressing that some people claim a dog can do things that i personally think is f***ing bullshit

Totally understand what you are saying dai and I get it all the time off the young ones near me then they ask what my dogs do and my answer is "they please me " nobody else but me . I always say there is dreamers in all walks of life let them dream and keep dreaming , but one thing I would like to say if you got the invite would you carry a red off the land

3 or 4 red hinds in a night would be good going never mind a good stag. Pre pan I've ran plenty and seen all types of lurchers run them day and night takes a special dog to take them single and lots will fail. Very few can actually take em down clean without help of fence or wall etc.

theres dogs from ireland with vids up killing 4 n 5 hares in england,but cant kill none in ireland.

I've never had a dog I would even consider slipping on a Red stag,never seen one run either.

 

I would love to see it done,there was a video on youtube of about 10 dogo argentinos trying and failing to hold a red stag,so I'm very dubious any single lurcher could.

Some people don't need to prove anything to anyone buddy. However, I'm here to say that there are some dogs out there that have taken a good few red single handed. No stories or fairy tales, but pure fact.

Now whether anyone believes it, it's up to them. But I knows the truth.

Heres the thing; when I was young and hadn't done any travelling I used to hear tales of lads going down south and coming back with two or three fallow and a couple of roe. I didn't believe it. NO WAY I thought. But I was basing this assumption in what I'd seen, what I'd experienced. However, as soon as I started traveling I soon changed my opinion. Suddenly five deer was no big deal, in fact, five deer was just an average evenings sport.....

 

It's always best to remain cautious when listening to tales, but just because you've not seen in it doesn't mean that there ain't some keen lurcherlad out there that's doing it....
