redial 81
Attitude of recscue owner. I made a telephone enquiry about a dog and at the end of the call, I had been given a lecture about the wrongs of keeping dogs housed outside. I would have given them £100 that they ask for and the young dog would of wanted for nothing ,he is ten months and never been walked or socialised. The one 8,494
The minute you say the wrong word mate your fecked , but the greyhound trust seem to be doing well punting them out here most nights you see couple walking round with a matching greyhounds rugged up and muzzled , but one couple had three and used to walk them round the local woods and they let them run loose which was fine till they cornered a roe doe in a stream the up cry and folk seeing it there now back walking the streets with muzzles on
neems 2,406
I wouldn't go near a rescue dog,the councils should just put down strays and re-home or put down dogs and cats people decide they don't want/can't keep. Instead we have a mix of animal rights nutters,do-gooders and various other weirdos collecting unwanted animals and begging other people to pay for it. They'd keep them all if they could, they're just looking for an excuse not give you one of their pets.
CushtyJook 1,097
Sad when majority of dogs in rescue seem To be either staffords or lurchers

Blackdog92 2,047
My mum wanted to take a rescue dog a few years ago and because she lived in the sticks the nearest rescue home was 30 miles away and they wouldnt let her have one because they only let them go within a 20 mile radious. All brilliant dogs I the right hands, the problem is fools who breed them for no other reason but profit

Lab 10,979
I've often thought about going into a rescue and getting a young dog. I'm afraid if I was challenged on keeping a dog in a kennel(shock horror) or the owner called the pups 'babies' I'd walk out.
