Jamo 90
They look great, I think my next dog will be 3/4 whippet bull, as my lurcher doesn't have good acceleration for the terrain I hunt in and hardly any in the fields compared to the rest of the area Quote Link to post
trenchfoot 4,243
They can end up ugly lumps though. 6 Quote Link to post

wezza 396
Don't get me wrong I've seen some cracking whippets, and I will probably get myself one day. But at this time a small lurcher just suits me more. On a different note, does anyone have any information on the bull that was used by jp to produce these 'pocket Rockets'? Not sure on the bull but I belive I was a mike brown stuff on the whippet side? Would be interesting to find out the bull lines Quote Link to post

pablo esc 1,598
I like that one trench foot! I heard a bit. About the sooty sam, mb stuff in the nineties, my friend was interested and would be telling me, bred and used for pest control, i think a quarter bull. I was given an adult around 2003, good men startedwwith it, and one had to get rid because of home problems, any way he was passed about a bit and was running in a heap of dogs at night, taller lurchers, i don't think he caught much. Anyway the dog done okay a fewttimesffor me, but didn't catch as much as expected, was okay though. But the bull, in him, seem to have it messed up in the heada bbit, but soundly enough he wouldn't fight with dog's, he took rabbits, fox, etc. A man yan, died a while now bred him i was told. Blac , White chest and feet about 21 inch i think. Atb Quote Link to post
