firthy 54
Had a little project recently I was working on , decided to build a decent high seat with roof to keep dry, still needs a few finishing touches but think it looks pretty good. The high seat is situated in a 17 acres of plantation which can be a bit hit and miss but I chose to have a go in the seat for the 1st time this evening, got in the seat fairly early around 6.30 was hoping to see a fallow pricket or a buck but don't usually see any decent bucks here until around mid October. Wasn't long before I see some movement a fallow yearling for which didn't stick around for long. A little later on I see a fallow doe and her fawn around 180 yards out in the corner of the field keeping my eyes in that general area in case my quarry was to make an appearance but no luck and they soon moved on. See a badger running along the edge of the ditch in rush to get somewhere, all the fields around this way have just been turned over so probably on his way to grub up on some worms. Went quiet for a while and was just starting to get dark around 7.30 ish and to my left a catch a glimpse of something making it's way across the field towards the chicken farm little b*****d gave him a quick squeek he stopped in his tracks and I permanently stopped him. The end :0) 2 Quote Link to post
