+2 you think no fecker on here ever jumps over the fence lol, even if you got permission not all ground holds game . I had 95 odd acres where I lived before , ok not very big but get few runs, but it never held many rabbits on there in 20 years me going there, it had sheep on which was great for training a pup. i got bit more ground but again not much on it , so you either look else where , or don't run your dog , and ive kept lurchers for 30 years, never looked at it any different .

ive got a bit land to run dogs .but what about al the young lads trying to get into the game do you expect them to sit at home with there hounds ,I say get out there and run them, respect the land and try not to get caught off the old bill ,the police are there to police and your there on permmisoin to do pest control, so leave them at it, if them get caught that's unlucky to them but dant be a grass and help the old bill ,first bit of land I got the farmer came with me and when he seen what a poacher and dog could do ,3 fields 18 rabbits later he welcomed me with open arms ,the police seem to always get called out for poachers and who makes that phone call at 2 oclk in the morning some lad off here that has been lucky to get permission ,feel sorry for the young lads doing what they enjoy these days atb bobza

true  , that ground I had back then, as one night in the local pub, the owner son was telling me that they were loosing few lambs to foxes, I told him I had lurcher that would control the foxes for him if he wanted. so few days later I went on didn't see any foxes for a week, but the next week I got big dogfox which I showed the next day, he was very happy with me and/dog this was my 1/4 pit 3/4 grey Bruce this was in the 80s. so I kept on the ground all them years as said, but many a time when out I seen other lamps on there, I just shone my lamp back at them lol, and they just moved off ,as they soon find like me there weren't much on there , it never really bothered me as its name of the game, you either try work your dog or you don't ,simple as that were ever that may be
