fireman 10,861
Unsuitable cage for a bird to live in and a poor old do teaching kids it's ok to keep a bird in a small cage imo and i wouldn't sell or give anyone anything to live in a cell like that.Ffs you wouldn't keep a dog penned up all the time so why is ok to do it to a bird ?..
whatdog72 287
Fireman just a question, the dimensions were taken from the breeding cages sold on eBay, that a lot of lads have on here use for there birds. The ones that you said "cracking set up that" to mule 1943 Only instead of 2 birds in each there will be 1 so the kids can get used of looking after them and try and tame them, where on my post does it say that they will spend all their life in this cage you called a cell I'm trying to encourage my grand kids into this hobby instead of sitting in front of the TV or a computer and was hoping for a bit of help from people on here FFS

whatdog72 287
Don't know what cages your on about mate, but they usually come as double or trebles, many then you can divide or make it one big cage, is yours taken from a single cage measurements? Birds will live in them, but they would thrive in summat bigger. Best of luck to the kids with there new birds when they get em Thanks for your positive advise

The above boxes were part of a cunning plan, I have wanted an aviary for some time but having taken over the garden with my kennels, chicken pens and pond it would not have gone down well with her in doorsI am always moaning about the kids not getting out or having hobbies and when I have taken them to my pals they have shown an interest in his song birds, hence the colourful pretty boxes for the grand kids Once they have shown interest I was going to build an aviary and tell the misses it's for the gran kids new hobby Sorry about the misunderstanding and thank you for your kind offer, if everything goes to plan I will post a picture of the gran kids new aviary once completed
