Should be in the ferreting section really but it's more about my 7 month old lurcher than the ferreting.   Only nipped out for an hour to try and bolt a couple for the pup.   I've said before she

The very first lurcher i ever owned,i went to buy a Border/Lakeland pup and ended up with a Deerhoundy/Collie Cur combo, cost me £17,he wanted £25.!981 and all these years later i still vividly remembe

Thanks for the comments folks. Still gonna take my time with the pup. Not rushing her. It's not like I'm stuck for something to run.   Off out on an invite later with the brindle bitch so hopefully

Thanks for all the comments.

Derekbrown - that's good to hear mate. I'm sure they will forget all about hunting in a few years when they find makeup and boys. Lol. But it's good fun for the time being.

Lurcherlad94 - good luck starting your pup fella.

Giro - Thanks pal. I won't be back on Moochers though. Met some good lads on there and it's a shame but I don't need that. I come on here in my spare time to chill out and have a laugh. We have the crack and banter on here but it's different on there. Constant arguing and bickering, it ain't banter it just winds me up. No need for it.

Derekbrown - get a big baseball bat. All will be fine. Haha.

Terry - cheers fella.

Dotty - that's funny. Lol. Hopefully her brother will be enough of a deterrent. My girl is an only child. Needless to say Im preparing for the worst. Haha.

Mushroom - cheers fella. We are a long way off yet. Only early days. But it's nice when they switch on early. Her retrieve wasn't quite as good as it is with a tennis ball or whatever, but that's to be expected really. The excitement of a live rabbit. She did a small lap of honour and then came to me and stopped about 6 feet away. I can live with that. And she left it alone when it was dead which means a lot to me. I hate dogs what piss about with dead quarry.
