Lurcher Track Fife

I was to talking to the builder who was working at house next door turns out he use to keep lurchers years ago and told me he was from fife and said there use to be track where guys took there lurchers to race some kinda coursing club near Kirkcaldy is this true ?

Non ped whippet club..and there is a lurcher show/racing held on same park last we end of april

A92 heading to Kirkcaldy roundabout turn right 1000yards roundabout turn left there is a park on right, that's where non peds race on Sundays unless it's changed, I heard years ago there was a greyhound track in methil. How true I just don't know.

no the Bevi park, its Randolph park, up near the scrapies, its good banter ,also you can run your lurcher at thornton after the hound races

Maybe not the same place but a guy used to have a wee track set up at a farm between Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn road. Think it was just a lure and small track.
