iworkwhippets 12,752
what a day, i had it all in my head how to put this terrible news on the forum, but its all gone now, so i will babble on with a tear in my eyes, for those of you who read my posts will know how much Tess loved and played with my ferrets, but this afternoon she got in my shed where i house the ferets in a large hutch. my fault for leaving the shed door open, she jumped on top of the hutch, and somehow fell between hutch and shed wall, the scream will never leave me, by the time i shifted the hutch, i could see her hanging from her rear leg, rushed her to the vets, they did xrays rang me 2 hours later with the news, femur broken in 2 places, the thing is, they have told me, after they operate next tuesday, when she eventually comes home, she needs to be crated well into 2016, not the thing for a bouncing puppy, i have phoned Dave and informed him of the news, dunno why but i expected a slagging off, but quite the opposite, so thanks for the understanding there my friend, and thank you for making me happy these last few weeks, with the gift of Tess, funnily enough if those are the right words, today was her day at home to play in the garden, for i take her out with me one day, skip the next, reason ive put this up is because some of you lads wanted to see her progress in life, bugger me she is only 12 weeks old, it doesnt pay you to be to happy in life always summat to slap you back down to earth Quote Link to post
