My first sighthound mix, from a friend here on this board. Finally got her out in the woods today, I've only had her for less than a week, hence the leash.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still a bit nervous about her running off, so that's the reason for the collar and leash.

Nearly right, lol, what is she like when you call her, on leash, does she react to you or ignore you mate.

On the leash she listens pretty well.

Let her off lead, she won't run off I'm sure, and if she does I'd bet she has enough sense to find her way back to your yard.

I've found the sighthounds to be much more of a blast on a daily basis than the terriers.
