dsfinetly thinking about insuring the dogs this winter,read on this forum that pet plan is one of the better ones,what would nfu mutual be like,heard good reports,just been hit with a good bill from vets,so going to invest in some insurance

Don`t call them lurchers though.

 

Mines were insured as a Collie cross and a Bedlington cross.

 

Worked out WAY cheaper than if they were lurchers ar greyhound / whippet crosses.

As said PetPlan is the best by far, never known an insurance company so happy to pay out before and they deal direct with the vets so much less of a headache for you

 

Just make sure the breed you put on the insurance forms matches up with what the vet has down in their records or you could run into problems when you put a cliam in

I'm tesco for 2 lurchers and a terrier about £48 if I remember and that's with 3 claims £1000+ & a couple just shy of that mark...
