fluff 409 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Share Posted September 14, 2015 long netted hares years ago using 5 inch salmon netting ,easy made up all you do is split an 8 feet sheet net to 4 feet set it to ahundred yard down to sixty height 2 and a half to 3 foot u can easy get draw line cheap , and poles caut pheasants in them allsorts , thirty years ago there was a bottle kneck into a powerstation hares used to dive into station, under gate so we got nylon salmon net 5 inch , set the net, walked a mile round it left mate at net and coursed them in steady with dogs pretty productive , got some footage of netting them some were ,i wouldnt do it now unles to relcate to better suitable land better than shooting them dead ,or snaring them , there were men at the waterloo asking for hares to take home over the water paying top dollar to i heard 1 Quote Link to post
