It is very important not to feed just muscle or organ meat. Dogs also need bone for calcium and other minerals or their bones will be weak. Chicken carcases are an excellent source of bone and most dog meat companies sell minced chicken which is the whole carcase, bone and all, minced up. If you can get whole carcases even better as they give the dog something to chew on which is important for their teeth as well as being mentally satisfying.

Good advice.

Ive been using Blendbetter minced Beef, Salmon, and Chicken, the Mutt is not to keen on the Salmon, the beef is okay, but seems to have a lot of offal in it, the Chicken is okay, Blendbetter buy raw from Nisbet.

Does that Nisbet deliver to Carlisle? ?

Not been to blend better in years it will be dearer than DAF? ?

no use to you loon but anyone living in or near dublin... springvalley meats in coolock. 1euro a kilo vacume packed into kilo bags. its 1 euro if ye buy 30 bags or 1.25 if ye buy less.the mix is minced chicken carcass, beef , heart and liver. i think their starting to put greens in the mix now. wouldnt cost much to add a bit of brown rice into the mix yourself and a bit of fish oil. my dogs are thriving on the stuff
