Help With Rats

We have loads of rats running round at work (pig farm) so had a couple mk4 fenns but not getting much success so as anyone got any hints and tips for me?

It's just outside Yorkshire near Worksop and the boss not keen on letting dogs on because of bio security and all that nonsense

I got night vision on air rifle or rimfire if you need help can account for some good numbers, I live in Worksop pm if you want help.

Thanks for the offer I'll have to ask the boss because it's rented land so not 100% if we would need to get permission off of the estate or not but I've considered having a go at them with air rifle myself so would be nice to have someone else to get a few more so I'll ask and see what's what with it

I'm not too far from Worksop, and will nail lots with traps and nv air rifle.

My boss and I shot 1500 rats on a pig farm last winter, it's the only way to get decent reduction In numbers fast.

Shooting will never compete with ratting with terriers properly

Agreed in farms with outdoor pig arcs but The pig farm we shoot is block built pens almost constantly occupied with pigs with 90% of rats living in the double lined roof space. 0 chance of terriers getting rats there. Shooting is the only suitable way for getting numbers down on our farm.
