Seamaster 153
I'm almost speechless Mitch. Sitting here reminiscing about the seven, yes seven piles of unmitigated shite with Regal stamped on the side and wondering, like Mac is, who you are and what you've done with the real VM. Seriously though mate, if you've set your heart on another there's no turning back. I do suggest you have a good look at a Super Carbine first though, it's already got a reg and a BSA barrel. As you know I really like mine. All the best with whatever you choose mate. Chris 2 Quote Link to post

villaman 9,982
I know what your are saying mate about the ultra , but when you have had a gun for about 4+ years and shot thousands of pellets through the gun ,I just think I need a change I have got board with it , The HW100 k with my new stock on ,I just cant stop shooting it and its my first gun I pick up and take out , I am like a teenager in love with the HW100k and with the ultra I am a man in mid life crisis which has fallen out of love !!! With the regal I love the look of the gun and it goes straight to the shoulder with ease , but I will not buy new and if I had the work done on it, that would cost about £300 taking the cost of that gun up to £1100 ,no way that's worth it . So I am looking for a second hand one . I had a BSA r10 before I had my regal ,lovely gun but not a very pointable gun ,very accurate at every distance from 20 yards up to 70 yards , But the new super carbine is by far better ,goes to the shoulder nice , balance is great and a very pointable gun and of course its got the very accurate BSA barrel ,which I rate them very highly . So the ultra hasn't gone yet until I find another gun and that's a stumbling block at the moment , you never know it might not go and I will fall in love again just like a teenager in love 1 Quote Link to post
