Flipper_Al 1,012
I run 3 different Linux distro's as virtual machines, but I happier working at the command prompt, as that's what I started with back in 82. Try Linux mint, its fairly user friendly.....browser Chrome still the quickest, I ran SeaMonkey for a while, but its getting to fat
stealthy1 3,964
Internet explorer 7, works for me Cheers, D. Got 7 already, but the support has finished for 7, so it's time to look for something else, the problem with Microsoft these days is you can't change a lot on it to benefit your self, the later versions are all free, and once you agree to their policies, that's it, you get what Microsoft feed you. It's like Chrome, why does it need 6 different background functions to use the internet?

Bring up your task manager, and look at the processes, counted 6 at one point, 4 seems to be the norm.

That's the way Chrome works... it will put web apps and addins into their own process, along with tabs, thats not an issue Open ten tabs in chrome....
