How Far From Home

I've been down to Hertfordshire, Hatfield. That was about 4 hours each way. 400 mile round trip and I try to get up the Scottish Borders regularly and have a night up there, stay over and back the next day. That's about the same, 400 mile round trip.

I regularly go Bedford that's 3 hours, Hereford 2 hours, Worcester 2 hours, Manchester 1 hour. Leicester 1.5 hours. Yorkshire dales 3 hours.

I'm gonna get up towards Carlisle this season for a few nights. There's a couple of lads up there I've got invites with. That's 3 hours each way.

I like to travel about a bit, not just stay local all the time. Not just for the better numbers but to show my dogs a bit of the country and get some nice photos to look back on in years to come. It's all part of the hobby for me. Travelling, walking new land and meeting new folk. It ain't just about going out and killing loads of stuff.
