Best bulb for tracer 170, is there difference in quality , tracer 100 w is £9 or can get same from maplins for £4

Don't get the maplins ones there shit mate the beam is dull orange. Ok for a quick fix if your out already but not for long time use IMO mate get the osram ones

You want the bulb with the vertical element these are the expensive ones from osram the maplines ones have the horizontal element and are not as good BB

Vertical filament 75w about £7 not sure about the 100w.

Any pics of the bulb our the bulb in packaging as I need a new bulb for mine an is it same bulb for the variable one as iam going to replace that for the new season aswell

I had a brand new bulb for a tracer 170 in my garage mate. It's the good one. Osram. Think it was £12.

 

If it's still there then you can have it.
