squab 2,875
not a debate but got love the old lamping game and having a 17 month old lurcher on the go nice to try him at everything and sure he will get plenty this season after picking a few up on his last trip out in january, but have to admit these days a single bushed rabbit with a team seems to be worth far more than a dozen lamped in the freezer, even more so with a young pack still learning the game. little bit this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-C0QK6189I leads to the lurcher picking up one these and more learning for the pup around the holes got love it 5 Quote Link to post

morton 5,368
you do make me chuckle I once learnt a bushing terrier to lamp when i was betwixt lurchers, she,s still here now and i softly remember the times i had to pick her up to look down the beam, she never caught much, yet caught, another time and a pointless exercise, yet exercise for a busher at lamp?. Truther 1,579
Bushing every time for me Rob, interesting watching the dogs work, and work as a team (hopefully) I used to lamp a fair bit, and enjoyed it, specially bringing a young dog on, but i prefer bushing.........just more to it i suppose And i'm scared of the dark 1 Quote Link to post
squab 2,875
Apart from the scared of the dark bit lol I'm with you all the way,all coming together now between them just down to the pup to fall in line for the future and were away cheers Quote Link to post
Truther 1,579
I do some of me best work in the dark mate or used to I don't think you'll have any major problems turning them into a good little bushing team, get the stuff in front of them, and the breeding will do the rest 2 Quote Link to post
