Michael Hayton 0
I changed from using springers about 3 weeks ago and bought my self the ultra se .22 and I do love the rifle its just iv bought almost every pellet on the market to try and find the best for my barrel. The problem I am having is that once im zero'd in all is good and then I will refill my air with my stirrup pump to around 200 bar and then my shots are either to far left or to far right and sometimes to high or low at the same time . I feel like I have to zero in every time I shoot any help would be great cheers Mike. Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
Is the mod lose ,is your scope lose are you knocking the gun ,scope or barrel in anyway , have you found the sweet spot for it ? Quote Link to post
Michael Hayton 0
All is tight mate and I am very careful when I am refilling air . I get around 40 shots from a 200 bar fill but I normally only do 30 then refill so I shoot between 200 bar down to 100. Shouldn't my sweet spot be there and would that effect pellets moving left to right? I also use a rifle bench rest to remove human error cheers Mike. Quote Link to post
meathumper 29
Hi Mike, check everything tight or not bent, barrel, mod, scope if so and problem persists try changing the scope. Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,550
Sounds like "crossover" Mike, any windage involved, are you indoors or outdoors with the scope zero. At short range do your pellets strike one side of the target and then at longer range strike the other side of the target ? Scope cant might well be in the mix also Edited August 16, 2015 by mark williams Quote Link to post
Michael Hayton 0
Yea everything is tight but I zero'd in last night at 25 yards and I could hit a drawing pin so I was happy. Then I had another go this morning with the same pellets and they were firing about 2 inches! to far left so I keept going until it was back down to 90 bar to see if that was the problem but they all grouped 2 inches left. There was no wind at all and my range is very enclosed too cheers for all the replies Quote Link to post
meathumper 29
Scope might be goosed Quote Link to post
Michael Hayton 0
It must be the scope because if it was the barrel or pellets they would not group i guess . Quote Link to post
darkdd81 36
Hi Mike I have suffered with this on some of my pcps when using a pump. When rifle is filled, the air cylinder expands and contracts and can cause microscopic movements to the barrel bands. This can cause loss of Zero. I experienced this with both my HW100 and AA s410. As i mainly hunt, i would fill the rifle before leaving home, and then check zero on arrival to my permission. Hope this helps. Edited September 9, 2015 by darkdd81 Quote Link to post
