I would only need a long dog for mooching nowadays so like W. Katchum said most cur lurcher dogs would do so why not one that's close to home. Now a well bred terrier pup that's bred well I'd travel for and have done many times. Although I don't blame folk for saying its to far to go for something if they're not that into it wouldn't want them owning it . Lads forgive me here please but are general purpose lurchers not ten a penny ? ( I'm not talking lurchers that are bred for a specific job) I look in the lurcher section and there are so much variety and they mostly seem to do the job required . fireman 10,915 Posted August 11, 2015 Report Share Posted August 11, 2015 Lost count of the times i've been up the lenght of the A1 for birds and dogs,blackpool,west wales,cornwall just to drop a dog off for someone and,went to Evesham a few weeks back just for a lining of a pals bitch from Norfolk and miles are time spent driving sat on your arse so to me no where is to far if what i want is there ..
