Gaz_1989 9,539
I don't think you will beat some nice minced chicken carcass, fatty minced lamb and some minced green tripe for young pups. Add in some soaked complete or brown bread. Reckon they would be bouncing ?
nothernlite 18,089
Mines were started on beef salmon and tripe mixed with a spoonful of bone meal brown bread and brown rice mixed and grated carrot together with a we bit water water over it and a bowl of red mill 32%xl left for them

gnipper 6,525
hi i,m getting ready to start my litter of gwp pups on solid food, i was thinking of feeding gain puppy and sapling, what do you think or are there better alternatives. thanks You'd be better using a more readily available brand like beta so it's easier for the new owners to carry it on. My pups get a good puppy complete with loads of mince and meaty bones.

dodger 2,765
Better off with csj very good dry Not a bad food csj but would be a lot better if they didn't use as much wheat maize n beat pulp that they do IMO ; )
skycat 6,173
Milk soaked wetabix with scrambled eggs then move them on to minced chicken Why feed puppies milk which isn't even from their own species, and then mix it with wheat which is much harder to digest for a pup than meat? Why not go straight to minced chicken which mimics the regurgitated mess that their dam would feed them if she was weaning the pups herself?
